We saw beautiful weather, though there was massive flooding a few weeks before the race. It quickly went down and caused us no issues. Megan Stegemiller-Alvarado defends her 1st to finish title from 2013. She takes off nearly 2.5 hours off her time, finishing in 20:56. For the men's field, Olivier Leblond went out strong, but slowly pushed further and further ahead of the rest of the field. By mile 50 he was an hour ahead, by 75 miles 2 hours ahead, and finishing 2.5 hours before the next finisher. Olivier is getting comfortable on our course and is able to make a plan and stick to it.
